Scottish Masters Hockey is seeking to appoint coaches for their M60 and M65 squads for the coming season. Coaches will oversee selection and preparation of teams for upcoming tournaments.
Both squads will be attending the Celtic Cup in Wales (date TBC) and the GB&I 4 Nations in Ireland in May. The M65s also have a 4 Nations competition in Duisburg, Germany, in July.
The final major tournament for both squads will be the World Cup at the end of the year. The M65s will represent Scotland in Cape Town, South Africa, mid October whilst the M60s travel to Auckland, New Zealand, in November.
If you coach hockey to a high level and think you have the drive to assist these two squads then please consider applying. You must have, as a minimum, the Level 1
Coaching Certificate (with a commitment to reaching Level 2). This is a demanding, yet exciting role. More detail can be found in the role document.
Both appointments will run from selection this year to the conclusion of the European Championships in 2025, with a review following the World Cups in 2024.
Anyone interested should express an interest and send in their details as soon as possible to: vacancy@scottishmastershockey.org.
The end of November is the close out date for these appointments.
