As preparations for the World Cups in South Africa and New Zealand continue, Scottish Masters Hockey have one eye on the next cycle of competition. The Women’s International Committee are seeking to appoint managers and coaches for our women’s squads.

A number of our squads will require experienced and passionate personnel to guide them through 2025. If you fancy a challenge, to broaden your knowledge or to add to your hockey CV this could be just the ticket.

If you coach hockey to a high level and have what it takes to coach at international standard and at tournament events then please consider applying. Coaches will oversee selection and preparation of teams for upcoming competition. You must have, as a minimum, the Level 1 Coaching Certificate (with a commitment to reaching Level 2). This is a demanding, yet exciting role. More detail can be found in the role advert.

Managers are essential to the smooth running of preparations for training and tournaments, and those with experience in the sport – and with some administration skills – are encouraged to apply. Please see the role advert for more details.

For both positions the Women’s International Committee of SMH advise that the initial period of appointment will be from selection this year to the conclusion of the European Championships in 2025.

Anyone interested should express an interest and send in their details as soon as possible to: ic.women@scottishmastershockey.org
