It’s a World Cup year, and those of a certain vintage will have the chance to take part with the news that the W40s Scottish Masters are holding invitational trials to bolster the squad.
Scotland are signed up for the upcoming World Masters Hockey World Cup in South Africa, along with the usual suspects – England, Wales and Ireland. But the schedule also includes competitors from Argentina, Australia, Chile, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, USA, and – of course – the hosts.
Trials have been booked for the following dates, times and venues:
15 June 2024
12 noon – 4pm
National Hockey Centre, Glasgow Green
22 June 2024
12 noon – 5pm
Kinross Hockey Club
Players of all positions are welcome. However, the expectation is that you attend both the above dates and be able to attend the event with availabilty from October 8 to October 22 this year (inclusive of travel). Please see information on eligibility and selection.
