Scotland squads arrive in Cape Town for 2022 Masters World Cup

All five Scotland squads have arrived safely in South Africa for the Masters World Cup, which starts tomorrow (Saturday, October 1). No sooner have they arrived than it was time for a quick change to put on those kilts and Scotland shirts and wave the flag during the Opening Ceremony.

Four women’s teams will take part – the W50, W55, W60 and W65s, whilst the M55s will fly the flag in the men’s competition. All squads have been announced with players, coaches, managers, technical officials and supporters all looking forward to some fantastic days of play between October 1-10.

Some matches will be livestreamed from Cape Town, which is one hour ahead of the UK, with matches taking place at Hartleyvale Stadium, Western Province Hockey Club and the University of Cape Town Hockey Club.
